The sunny and warm weather today meant lots of yard work for my dad and other people in the neighborhood. That only means one thing- I'm due for an allergy attack. Every Spring I have at least one day where I am totally incapacitated from allergies. And I haven't had that day yet. Now that my dad mowed the front lawn I see Claritin, teary eyes and lots of tissues in my future...

Hey Katie,
First of all - love your blog! I love following you and Aislinn (Aislinn and I went to HS together - I'm not a random creeper :)
But anyway, someone shared this tid bit with me and it helped immensely so I wanted to share it with you... to help with allergies, try taking about a tablespoon worth of local honey (it has to be local honey b/c it's from local bees - the culprits of spreading the nasty pollen).
Try it. It worked for me! And if it doesn't work, it was just honey :)
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face through your blog!!
Amanda
Hi Amanda,
Thanks so much for your advice about the local honey. I'm definitely going to give it a try.
And also thanks for your kind words about the blog! I'd appreciate it even if you were a random creeper!
