Day 244 no entiende

Signage!!?@! Does this stuff make you as happy as it makes me? Homemade signs with a little dash of passive aggressiveness get extra awesome points, for those keeping score. I spotted this tonight in the hallway of a friends building. Maybe don't go with the Spanish sign if you're not feeling comfortable with... ya know... Spanish. Just a thought. I also super enjoy the very, very tiny english translation at the bottom. So much goodness!

Day 233 is sending mixed messages

The weather was so so so divine today that I found myself up early, running out to grab some coffee and go for a walk through my neighborhood just because I could. An especially perfect start to any day. I stumbled upon this sign. I know what they're saying, I'm with them all the way, but I still chucked. Wedding dress rugs anyone? When you're wedding dress rug needs cleaning, I know a great place that will take great care of you. :)

Day 203 is a hidden message

I stumbled upon this artsy little board on the side of a building in my neighborhood. I have zero idea what it is trying to say or if it's trying to say anything at all. I'm not quite convinced it's not just a random grouping of letters. I do still like it though!

Day 187 heeds this warning

I had to take the train into downtown Chicago today for some meetings and errands and such. It was fantastic. I absolutely fell in love with mass transit in NY and the system they have in Chicago seems to be just as impressive as the MTA. Today I spotted this sign on the train platform. It's fantastic in a quirky "did you really need to remind people of this?" kind of way. I adore it.

Day 125 got the message

As I walked out of the office today, stressed about how behind I am on all the things I have to get done in the next few days, I saw this. I'm sure it's been there before, but today was the first day I noticed it. And I was grateful for the very wonderful timing of this message. Because outside of all the noise and crap that comes at you everyday, sometimes its easy to forget that life is, in fact, good.
