Day 325 likes packing peanuts

My mom's birthday was this week. One of her friends sent her present with these awesome packing peanuts! So fun!

Have I mentioned that my mom is awesome? To celebrate surviving my first week at the new job I went to dinner and a movie with some friends. I returned to find this present from my mom (Spoiler alert: It's nail polish). A line from the accompanying note, "Here is a little surprise celebrating your first week at the new job (just don't expect a present every week!)." She's the best. Maybe I'll try out the new shade this weekend- stay tuned for a pedicure photo!
