Day 322 got their nails did

My mom and I got manicures tonight. I opted for the more subtle beige/gray color. My mom, the crazy fun teal. It's name? Mermaid tears. She's a badass.

Day 245 ain't easy being green

It's the holiday weekend! I want to do as many summery things as possible over the next few days. This includes wearing sundresses, driving with the windows down and eating ice cream. Let's be honest, I'll likely do all of these things after Labor Day, but they just won't feel the same! Tonight I'm having a relaxing evening in before a busy next two days. What better way to spend the night than by painting my nails in summer colors! This green shade (Who the Shrek Are You) is going on my hands. I haven't yet picked a color for my toes. I'll likely settle on something with an equally cheeky name.

Day 199 has new shades

Check out these fun new nail polish shades! I'm currently rocking the minty green color, creatively called "Light Green." With these options, I'm glad it's summer and I can show off different shades on my toes and fingers.

Day 126 is gifted.

Have I mentioned that my mom is awesome? To celebrate surviving my first week at the new job I went to dinner and a movie with some friends. I returned to find this present from my mom (Spoiler alert: It's nail polish). A line from the accompanying note, "Here is a little surprise celebrating your first week at the new job (just don't expect a present every week!)." She's the best. Maybe I'll try out the new shade this weekend- stay tuned for a pedicure photo!
