Day 289 turns into a pumpkin

My good friend Sarah had a surprise birthday party for her mom today - it was a wonderful celebration! She did a great job party planning. Most importantly, her mom was surprised. Also, Sarah baked these pumpkin cakes! I can't even begin to think how to bake something so adorable. She's such a crafty lady!

Day 287 likes your 'stache

My friend had a birthday party tonight. Someone brought these wonderful fake moustaches, as it was a costume party. I may or may not have worn one after a few drinks. The one I wore "The Snob" should obviously be called "The Hitler."

Sidenote: The screen on my camera started to act a littly funky shortly after I took this photo. So, apologies in advance if the next day or two of posts are late. That is, later than I've been posting recently...

Day 264 hints at Halloween

Here's a sneak peek at my costume for a Halloween birthday party I'm attending in a couple weeks. Hint #1: it's a two part costume and my friend is the other half. Hint #2: it's an outdated pop culture reference. Hint #3: I still need to buy a wig.

Day 162 got a tattoo

My friend had a tattoo party today. No, I did not get inked. I went for moral support, hand-holding, and food. I like the idea of getting a tattoo, but I'd rather wait and get something deeply meaningful. Though, there was a full back tattoo of an owl in one of the shop's books...

Day 162 had a bittersweet birthday

So I've been in Chicago for roughly 10 hours and am in love with this city all over again. One of my besties (and future roomie!) KGrahams is taking me around to some parties in the city and introducing me to new, awesome peeps. We had some amazingly rich chocolate cake from Bittersweet Bakery and while it didn't go so well with those margaritas we had at dinner, it was worth it.YUM. I mean really.. yum. I believe I just found my new fave sweet shop in Chicago.

Day 106 partied hard

Wedding weekend is officially over and I am quite le sad. The party and the awesome times with friends was virtually nonstop and it was incredible. Not incredible is how I forgot my camera cord in Seattle, wah wah! Here's the one pic from Saturday that I was able to get on my phone. It's from the after-party and it was quite the good time. Sorry for the late post readers!

Day 105 is ready to party, party

And thus begins the wedding weekend! The rehearsal dinner we just got back from was all kinds of awesome and now we're chilling and laughing and remembering great college stories all night. Perfection? Yes, indeed. Hooray for a great weekend with even greater friends!

Day 92 is partied out

This is one of the last pictures I took at Boogie Nights in Atlantic City last night. That's me (first time I'm showing my face on the blog!) and my friend Alyssa (well her hair at least) before we went back to the suite. I was partied out to say the least. But it was an amazingly fun night!

Day 91 wants to boogie

I'm mere minutes away from heading down to Atlantic City for a bachelor/bachelorette party! It's 70's night at the casino so we will all be decked out in our best disco garb.
