Day 292 knows the best part of waking up
I had the kind of night that demanded the first thing I do this morning was make coffee. Before anything else was done, said, turned on, moved, etc.... coffee was to be had. I'm sure you understand this, fellow coffee drinkers. Also lesson learned that going out on a week night will not, in fact, be less intense than going out on a weekend. I was all wrong in that assumption. Here's a top view of my french press with some fresh beans ready to be freshly... pressed? You get what I mean.

Day 276 work work work.
Look familiar? Well 1) my favorite mug made it with my from Seattle to Chicago. And 2) I'm back in the thick of things working like a crazy person. Deadlines like to come at you all at once, huh? It's certainly a conspiracy. Not that I don't mind a few days of nothingness. It's when those days are sandwiched between two weeks of absolute insanity that I kind of wish it all could have been planned better. So anyway, this has been my morning (and afternoon) view for the past few days. I don't quite see an end in sight just yet. I'll keep you all posted.

Day 163 is all over the place
Eeeeek, late post! Blogger fail! You guys - I don't feel good about this late post. I blame exhaustion and not so good internet in Chicago. Apologies all around. Sunday I had some chill time in the morning (chill time = hangover recovery time) to get some work done and do more Chicago exploring. Twas fun, fun! I know it's the last thing you're supposed to drink when recovering from a booze filled evening, but I needed coffee more than I needed to keep breathing, ya know? So coffee I got. It was 2pm by the time I was getting my "morning" coffee and it was worth the wait.

Day 131 gotta hava Wawa

I hit a midday slump today like you would not believe. Luckily this Wawa coffee revived me for just enough time to get me to 5pm. Happy humpday everyone!

Day 86 needs a jolt
It was a lazy Sunday if I ever saw one. Lazy, lazy, lazy. I spent about 2 hours working up the energy to look at my to-do list. Then another 4 hours avoiding doing anything on that list. And I'll be finishing up the night by finding new a creative ways to continue avoiding doing any actual work at all. Unless drinking coffee counts as work, in which case... nailed it. But such are Sundays I guess. I'm conceding defeat and just going to bed having accomplished nothing more than resting. All in all, still a good day.

Day 50 loves girls day (and coffee)
I'm in the middle of a fabulous girls weekend o' debauchery with two of my most favorite people on earth. We're taking over Seattle, kids!
This morning we had a fantastic brunch to start our day and of course I busted out my camera mid meal to capture the moment. While the coffee did photograph well, it left much to be desired taste wise. wah wah! But it's okay, Seattle is certaintly not a town lacking in delicious coffee so our next stop was an amazing espresso bar where we each picked up a proper cup of caffeine. Here's to more fun tonight!
