Day 289 turns into a pumpkin

My good friend Sarah had a surprise birthday party for her mom today - it was a wonderful celebration! She did a great job party planning. Most importantly, her mom was surprised. Also, Sarah baked these pumpkin cakes! I can't even begin to think how to bake something so adorable. She's such a crafty lady!

Day 287 likes your 'stache

My friend had a birthday party tonight. Someone brought these wonderful fake moustaches, as it was a costume party. I may or may not have worn one after a few drinks. The one I wore "The Snob" should obviously be called "The Hitler."

Sidenote: The screen on my camera started to act a littly funky shortly after I took this photo. So, apologies in advance if the next day or two of posts are late. That is, later than I've been posting recently...

Day 64 gets a visitor

Today my lovely and talented friend Emily came to visit and it was an absolutely perfect day! We started the day at Terhune Orchards in Princeton for a wine tasting. It was delightful, even though I know practically nothing about wine. Before heading into town we stopped at the store for some delicious local goodies including their amazing apple cider doughnuts. Sooo good! The rest of our day was less photogenic (ie. two classy broads chowing down on wings, buying discount movies/music, and devouring cupcakes). I could get used to more Saturdays like this one!

Day 41 got mail

Today I received not one but two Valentine's Day cards from my friend Emily! Last year for my birthday she sent "The Top 5 Worst Birthday Cards" for my birthday one of which included a cat dressed as Miley Cyrus. She's a gem (Emily, not Meowley Cyrus). These are way classier but still Valentine cheesy. "Fever chills... I've got it bad for you!" "You set my everything on fire!" Really? How can I top these!? A Justin Bieber Beagle card?
