Day 307 is autumn again

Autumn! It didn't feel like it for a while there, with the snow. But now autumn is back and I'm enjoying every minute of it, when I have time that is.

Day 303 didn't melt

After being out for most of Sunday, I was surprised to come home and still see snow on the ground! We got a total of about three inches here in Bucks County. Autumn just about disappeared!

Day 302 is an early snow day

What!? Snow, on October 29!? It doesn't feel like autumn. This was truly a bizarre sight as I drove home early this morning. Today will be full of movies, tea and napping. Perfect snow day!

Day 288 loves foliage

Another thing I love about autumn? FOLIAGE! Bucks County is especially beautiful at this time of year. I loved the way the sun hit this particular tree. So many leaves! It'll be a sad day when they fall.

Day 281 celebrates Fallsington

Today marked one of my favorite autumn days in Bucks County - Fallsington Day. It's a celebration of historic Fallsington. It features flea markets, crafts, autumn treats and more! The weather was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed buying things I didn't need and eating funnel cake. It was a great day. Only 364 days until the next Fallsington Day!

Day 279 is a good witch

And the Halloween/autumn decorating continues... Just a little ceramic witch's shoe to spice up this tree!

Day 277 is a fake apple

Have you ever had one of these, Caramel Apple Pops, from the same company that makes Tootsie rolls? If you haven't (you're missing out), they are green apple candy covered with chewy caramel. Not as good as an actual caramel apple, like the one from Day 263, but a pretty good substitute!

Day 275 enjoys cider

Today I went to a local orchard, Styer's. While there I had some hot apple cider, which was so delicious that I needed to buy a container to take home. So good! Another favorite autumn treat.

Day 271 dresses accordingly

This is my favorite new autumn-colored shirt. Isn't it a great print? I bought it about two weeks ago at Forever 21 and have already been overwearing it. Plus, it's perfect for the indian summer (is that politically incorrect??) weather we've been having recently!

Day 267 is adorable

Once again, my mom has done something adorable. She loves autumn as much as I do, and has begun setting up cute displays like this one in the backyard. Stay tuned for some exciting Halloween pictures in the coming weeks!

Day 266 wants candy

I love candy corn. It is my absolute favorite seasonal candy. Candy canes? Peeps? Whatever. This is where it's at.

Day 263 is an autumn treat

Peanut-covered caramel apple - perfection. Not much else can be said about one of my favorite autumnal treats. Especially because it disappeared in mere minutes.

Day 259 is gourd-geous

Autumn has arrived in Bucks County and I couldn't be happier! I actually wore boots today. It was very exciting. Further getting me into the spirit of the season? These gourds!

Day 256 can't wait for autumn

September 13th. Mark this day down in your Katie Calendar. My first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season! I made time to stop at Starbucks before work this morning with the intention of ordering one of these bad boys. It did not disappoint. Well, other than the fact that it was gone too quickly.
