Day 163 bought the necessities

I went to Target this morning and bought these three items: a dress, Mad Men Season 4 DVD, and Essie nail polish in "master plan." Necessities, clearly. It was a more sophisticated shopping trip than my usual Target buys of soda cans and generic pain pills.

Day 42 hit a wall

...Not literally. I went to Target this afternoon for an item or two. This is the state of the parking lot, weeks after our snowstorms. It's just a gentle reminder that winter is still hanging around. It's supposed to be in the 40s this weekend, which will feel like a heatwave I'm sure. But for now I still feel like I'm sitting in a car staring at a huge mound of snow.
