Day 308 stays in

To cap off my busy/stressful week I decided to stay in on Friday night and get some work done. Party animal, I know. But I rewarded myself with a delicious glass (or few) of Jewish wine. Mazel tov!

Day 267 is so FREAKING excited!

MY FRIENDS ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaahhh! I almost knocked them over with excitement as soon as they got out of the cab. Saturday we had a chillaxin and wonderful day. That included lots of wine and food and movies and talking and general happiness. 7 hours sitting around a table talking to some of your best girlfriends? Yup, I want that everyday.

Day 251, Hey Mambo!

I'm not the only person who picks out wine based on label design, right? I mean - besides knowing whether I want a red, white or rose - everything else is determined solely by labels. This bottle is currently sitting in our booze cabinet waiting to be enjoyed. But I don't know if I can because I just love this packaging design so much! Hey Mambo!

Day 201 needs to cool off

This summer heat has a sneaky way of causing plans to be cancelled I think. Suddenly not moving while sitting as close as possible to the AC sounds like a much better plan than pizza. Which is crazy, because few things ever really sound like a better plan than pizza, am I right?? Tonight we opted for some chilled wine and brownies over any other plans, and I feel quite happy about it.

Day 146 won't whine

Yes, that is indeed a crate of assorted wine and champagne in my trunk. We had a ton of it left over from my work event, which was split between several of my co-workers. This combines two four letter words I love: wine and free. Now, I won't be so bold as to pretend to know very much about wine. But I do know one thing: this is the good stuff. I also know that a crate of fifteen bottles of wine is super heavy! I was slightly terrified of the champagne popping in my hot car while I sat parked, waiting for a freight train to pass by. Thankfully it didn't. Otherwise I would've looked really silly sitting in my driveway, head buried in my trunk with a straw.

Day 97 feels gloomy

This sad and gloomy weather put me in a sad and gloomy mood. All I feel like doing is having a glass of wine and watching TV. And I think I'll do just that.

(This time in exactly one week I'll be en route to south Jersey for Ashlee's wedding weekend - let's fast forward!)

Day 32 needs to unwind

Readers and friends, I am happy to share with you all that I am employed again! wooooohoooo! 

This means I'm back to doing silly things like getting dressed and showering and leaving the house and not having breakfast at 2pm. You know, all those things that grown ups do. It's hard being a grown up and frankly I'm just not sure if it's for me. I decided a glass (or 3) of wine was in order to celebrate my new employed status. perfecto!

ps. sadly a few minutes after this picture was taken this glass shattered into many many little pieces. This was it's last photograph. I'll miss you pretty ikea wine glass. You were only 89 cents, but I knew your value couldn't be measured in mere cents.
