Day 305 gives up

To say I've been busy and stressed is an understatement. My late posts are still inexcusable. I'm letting you down faithful readers! To make matter worse this effing photo won't load. After four tries, I give up. You can kind of see the flowers I was attempting to capture... Sorry friends!

Day 282 likes fresh flowers

To match this unseasonably warm weather, here's some cute flowers! Zinnias are one of my favorite types of flowers and mums are just autumny. That's all.

Day 177 stopped to smell the flowers

Move 1 of 2 = finished. FINISHED! Moving the sis into the new place was like the long, long marathon that never ended. The place still has a few boxes here and there that don't have a home just yet, but I just could really care less about those right now. Right now I'm all about resting up before I have to do this all over again with my stuff in Chicago in 4 days. 4 days!! That's the countdown for days left in Seattle. Yikes, where has the time gone?!

Day 133 did it again...

Sorry friends. This late post is 100% my fault. Two days in a row is inexcusable! I'm considering this a lesson to myself to blog before going out to celebrate the weekend. But anyway, yesterday's sunshine reminded me how much I love these flowers in my front yard.

Day 123 was surprised

To honor my first week at the new gig, my parents sent flowers to my office! What a wonderful surprise! They completely brighten up my desk, especially under the oh so lovely fluorescent lighting. This does mean that I will be spoiled by fresh flowers though. So, you know, if anyone feels like sending me a bouquet...

Day 120 loves the beautiful leis

I love being home and being around all the fresh flower and lei on the island. Especially this week, there are lei all over Hilo and the smells are amazing. It's incredible that I didn't develop allergies growing up here, but once I moved to New York it was allergy central. Seems a bit backwards now. I'll miss all these lei once my trip is over. Le sigh.

Day 109 is a secret garden

My local produce store is transforming into Easter/spring headquarters. It was equal parts jarring and amazing to see all of the flowers and fresh herbs lining the entrance. Such happy lovely colors definitely made the rainy day more manageable!
